Harshies and Sunnies: What’s the Diff?

Keen Bask consumers have noticed 2 new additions to the menu: Harshies and Sunnies. What’s the difference between these 2 new products, and what do these differences mean? In this blog, we’ll dive into the world of Harshies, Sunnies, and what that means for you.

Earlier this year, we unveiled a new Bask product, Harshies. We noted other cultivators in Massachusetts and noticed that we had the resources to enter the trim pre-roll market. Since our inception, our Bask pre-rolls have only been filled with ground flower, but we needed something to do with our trim.

Our trim is primarily sugar leaf, which is still rich in THC and trichomes. For years, we didn’t know what to do with it, until now. Harshies consists of trim from almost all of our strains, making an indica-dominant hybrid blend. These pre-rolls are generally lower in THC percentage, ranging anywhere from 15% to 20%, and they may be a harsher smoke than you’re used to. That’s why we came up with the name. We know they might be harsh, so you should know too.

Now, with the success of Harshies, we found that strain blends are searched for among our consumers. Farnsworth, Lowell Farms, and other brands offer strain blends instead of specific strains. We decided to do this too.

Sunnies is our newest product, and they pack a punch. Using only ground flower, Sunnies offers an indica-dominant pre-roll that packs in the THC. Sunnies are smaller than Harshies, coming in at a .35g pre-roll instead of a .5g. This is because the THC percentage is way higher. Ranging in percentage from 25% to 30%, you can expect a potent blend of our finest flower. These are less harsh too, giving you a better smoking experience.
