Bask Welcomes Back Montel Williams to Fairhaven

We at Bask are so excited to welcome back Montel Williams to Fairhaven. On September 27 from 4:30 to 7:00 PM, Montel will be on the Adult Use side to talk about his line of vapes, “Inspire by Montel.”

Montel Williams hosted his eponymous talk show from 1991 to 2008. In 1999, Williams was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and since then, he has used medical cannabis to help treat his symptoms.

“Inspire by Montel” is a line of ratioed vape cartridges, meaning that they have a ratio of CBD and THC in each vape. With different varieties and ratios, there’s something for everyone. Williams partnered with Freshly Baked, a local company in Taunton, to produce these vapes in Massachusetts.

Freshly Baked was founded by Phil Smith and Jenny Roseman, who used cannabis to treat PTSD associated with their service to our country. A marine himself, Williams has made it a need to partner with a veteran-owned business.

Cannabis isn’t something new to Williams. For the past 22 years, Montel has been crucial in passing medical cannabis legislation in New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and other states.

This isn’t the first time we welcomed Montel Williams to Bask. In April, we had the chance to meet Montel and hear him speak about his vapes. We are really excited to welcome him again. Check out these great photos from his last visit.

You can see Montel Williams’ vapes for yourself on our menu. We look forward to seeing him soon!
