For the 8th year in a row, Bask will be celebrating our Free Trees Arbor Day Event. This annual happening has become a staple in Fairhaven, and this year we’re bringing the party to our Taunton location as well. Bask’s Free Trees 2025 will take place on Friday April 25th, in front of both our locations with no purchase necessary to grab your free Balsam sapling.
This event is one that we look forward to every year, and we love that we can help our community by adding trees to the surrounding area. This little step is our way of contributing to worldwide environmental efforts.
“This will be our eighth ‘Free Trees’ celebration since opening Bask in 2018 and we’re proud to continue the tradition,” explains Bask CEO, Chapman Dickerson. “Our goal is to give away 500 native tree seedlings this year and we welcome everyone in the community to stop by Bask and take a seedling home to plant in their yard.”
This year, we purchased Balsam tree saplings from the Massachusetts Tree Wardens’ and Foresters’ Association.
“Preserving our planet is important to us at Bask. As a business, we’re committed to sustainable cultivation and packaging practices to help reduce our carbon footprint. Getting 500 trees in the ground is a fun way to engage the community in helping the planet this Arbor Day,” says Dickerson.
