Bask Looks Back at 2023

At Bask, it has become a yearly tradition to reflect on the past year and share the best highlights with you! We’ve done a lot this year and we look forward to making more memories with the community!

To kick things off, we turned 5 this year! That’s right, Bask celebrated its 5th birthday in style with all of our favorite brands and partners on-site for a fun-filled day of pop-ups, SWAG giveaways, and so much more. For the past 5 years, we have had the privilege to serve to SouthCoast community, and we anticipate many more great years to come.

This year, we launched the Bask Test Kitchen, sharing recipes for infused foods that you could make in your own home! Hosted by Jon Paul, this series shared tips, tricks, and safe ways to introduce cannabis into your home cooking.

We also launched our own Bask loyalty program, allowing customers to earn points with every purchase. This also coincided with the launch of the all-new Bask app! Now you can access the best that Bask has to offer right on your phone.

We got to celebrate Women’s Month in March, and we sat down with our staff to talk about empowerment in the cannabis industry. We also partnered with Operation Clean Sweep to help clean and eliminate trash and debris from beaches, waterways, and public streets. This year alone, we helped to clean up over 6,000 pounds of trash.

Our staff was able to attend some great shows this year too. We had some great booths at both NECANN and The Harvest Cup, where we got to share information about the dispensary and our products, making some great connections too.

You also got to see our staff high in the sky in another sense, with Bask billboards showcasing our dispensary and cultivation employees above New Bedford.

Speaking of cultivation, we dropped some incredible strains including Cap Junky, Devil Driver, Whistling Moon Traveler, and Leafly’s 2023 Strain of the Year, Permanent Marker!

We got to sponsor a lot of community events, including the Buzzard’s Bay Watershed Ride to help support clean water in Buzzard’s Bay, the Ruck for Veterans to help support local Veterans, and many others.

This year, we also hosted two different drives to help local organizations; a Winter Clothing Drive to benefit PAACA’s warming centers in New Bedford, and a Winter Drive to benefit the Veteran’s Association of Bristol County. Both were great successes, and we didn’t do it alone. Thank you to the community who helped us benefit these two great organizations.

We also want to thank the SouthCoast community for naming us Best Dispensary, Best Alternative Medicine, and Top Employer in this year’s 2023 Community Choice Awards. This blew us away, and we are truly thankful.

As we look forward to 2024, we would like to thank everyone who helped make 2023 a great year. Stay tuned for announcements regarding our new location in Taunton. We’re looking forward to it!
